In the midst of launching a number of new venues, The Alchemist wanted to increase online visibility and bookings by improving rankings, localised searches and events.
We created venue pages using well-considered, optimised content. Our priority was to inform the customers and develop a strong brand voice that remained in line with the businesses brand guidelines.
We took the time to understand their brand voice, to produce content that engages customers and encapsulates their quirky, dark brand personality.
We set up Google My Business pages for all of the venues to increase website traffic and bookings for the individual venue pages. We optimised the Google My Business content to rank in the map pack results for non-branded terms such as ‘Cocktail Bar Manchester’. This resulted in an average of 705,875 sessions per month from non-branded traffic in 2019.
We regularly posted to ensure that customers were kept up to date with the latest offers, menu items and restaurant news and to increase page engagement.
To increase local visibility of the venue pages, we initiated a local link building campaign. Our aim was to increase the number of backlinks from local websites and local citations. This establishes the businesses presence in specific areas and can also increase footfall and drive relevant referral traffic to the website.
