The gold bullion market is highly saturated and heavily influenced by fluctuating prices, making it difficult for smaller brands to stand out. Bullion Giant needed to cut through the noise to capture the attention of investors already being targeted by more established competitors.
At the same time, they faced the challenge of educating a broader audience about the benefits and long-term value of investing in gold, particularly those new to the market. In a space where trust and authority are critical, the brand had to increase its visibility and credibility, all while operating on a tighter budget than many of its competitors.
Since March 2023, we’ve overhauled Bullion Giant’s paid media performance by deploying a full-funnel strategy that effectively balances awareness and conversions. We restructured their PPC campaigns to target both high-intent and broader keywords, giving us the flexibility to shift focus based on performance and seasonal goals.
To extend reach beyond search, we introduced Google Performance Max campaigns, tapping into YouTube, Display, and Gmail placements to engage audiences who may not have considered gold investment before. Alongside this, we launched paid social campaigns that spanned the full funnel, using lookalike audiences and product feed ads via Meta’s Advantage+ to increase conversions. Complementing this was the introduction of abandoned basket email flows and bi-monthly product-focused campaigns, both of which contributed to increased conversion rates and customer retention.
Beginning in March 2024, we implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on driving high-converting traffic and building long-term search authority. We optimised key landing pages and created new content where gaps were identified, ensuring alignment with high-intent search terms. To enhance user experience and boost engagement, we restructured the site’s navigation to provide clearer, more intuitive journeys.
To establish topical authority, we launched an ongoing blog content strategy aimed at educating users and supporting long-tail keyword visibility. On the technical side, we resolved URL errors, improved site health, and implemented enhanced product schema to support better indexing. We also strengthened analytics and tracking frameworks, allowing for more accurate attribution and performance reporting from SEO.
From August to December 2024, we ran a targeted digital PR campaign to help Bullion Giant build brand authority and support organic growth. Given the niche nature of the industry and the fact the brand had never done PR before, our strategy focused on positioning their internal experts at the heart of media conversations within the finance and investment sectors.
We shifted our focus toward reactive outreach, identifying opportunities where expert insights could add genuine value to journalists covering breaking news or trends. This agility allowed us to land high-quality media coverage in respected publications. As a result, we were able to build a strong backlink profile, which contributed to noticeable improvements in domain authority and organic traffic.
