Age of No Retirement

The fast-growing charity tasked us with building a brand new website on a very tight schedule

Age of No Retirement is a charity initiative that generates new opportunities for citizens, workers, businesses and communities of all ages. They also encourage businesses to disregard age discrimination and see the value of an older demographic from an employer’s perspective.

The charity tasked us to build a new website in conjunction with their application for National Lottery funding. This meant we faced a very tight deadline to ensure the new site was looking the best it could prior to adjudication.

Our solution

Due to the time constrictions we faced with this project, we immediately devised a watertight development schedule that would get the website in the best possible shape prior to the National Lottery funding deadline.

We worked closely with the team at AONR, taking their ideas for different layouts and shaping them into highly engaging web pages. To do this, we employed the use of our bespoke in-house framework (Ebb) and drag-and-drop page builder (Flow). This system allowed AONR maximum control and customisation over each section on the website, and enabled the team to quickly and professionally add content to pages. It also gave them the ability to play with the design whenever they wanted to go for a new look.

With Flow, most elements can be restyled which gives you the flexibility needed to make distinct pages that look exactly how you want them to. AONR’s brief also included social media integration, news and story archives, RSS feeds and limitless contact forms that they could add anywhere. Piece of cake.
